Offshore Surf are long established retail outlets on the NSW South Coast.The Moruya store opened in the early nineties when the original “Mad Gear” in Broulee relocated and traded under the name Offshore. Keen surfer David Penkethman took over in the mid nineties, moved to a bigger premises in Moruya and subsequently re-opened the Broulee store, with both shops trading under the Offshore label. As of 2019 two longtime employees Brett and Ned have taken over the reigns.

Going from strength to strength, the boys since acquired Narooma Surf n Skate in July 2022, subsequently rebranding it to Offshore Narooma.  

Specialising in surf hardware – we continue to offer knowledgeable & honest advice. We stock a most comprehensive range of surfboards and wetsuits, we have everyone from the beginner to the pro surfer covered.

We take trade-ins, offer demo models, surfboard hire, stand up paddle board hire and have several of the best surf breaks along the coast right on our doorstep. Also stocking tonnes of swimwear, apparel, footwear, eyewear, watches, skate-gear, bodyboards, accessories and much more.

As seen on TV – the “Run By Surfers” motif still holds true. With Ned doing the Saturday morning surf report on ABC Radio, he’s always at our Broulee store, for a friendly chat and expert advice.
